Pryadka Volodymyr Mykhailovych – was born on March 4, 1942 in the village of Khodoriv, Kyiv region. Graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute, specializing as a sculptor, qualification "Artist-sculptor, teacher" (1966). 1992-2005 Chairman of the Union of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine. 2001-2004 Corresponding Member of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Member of the National Union of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine. Current member (academician) of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine (2004). People's Artist of Ukraine (1996). Professor of the Drawing Department. Laureate of the Taras Shevchenko State Prize (1998). Gold Medal of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine (2012). Works in the field of sculpture, painting, graphics, monumental and decorative and sacred art, and tapestry. Participant of more than 100 all-Ukrainian and international exhibitions and plein airs. Author of more than 700 works of painting and graphics, sculpture, monumental painting, tapestries, ceramics, etc.
