Shelyuto Oleksandr Mykolayovych
Shelyuto Oleksandr Mykolayovych was born on February 16, 1937, Odesa. Ukrainian painter. Son of artist Mykola Shelyuto. In 1958, he graduated from the Odessa Art School, where he studied with Oleksandr Atsmanchuk, Leonid Muchnyk, and Tamara Yehorova. Works in the field of easel painting. Creates landscapes, portraits, and still lifes. Participant of all-Ukrainian exhibitions since 1961, and all-Union exhibitions since 1965. He held several personal exhibitions, in particular at the Odesa Museum of Western and Eastern Art in 1987, and numerous group exhibitions in the United States of America, Canada, Italy, Germany, France, Japan, and Bulgaria. The artist's works are kept in the collections of the Odesa Art Museum, the Museum of Modern Fine Arts of Ukraine in Kyiv, and private collections in Europe and America.
