ABOUT THE ARTIST: Kommunar Savelievich Berkuta – was born on 2nd of July, 1926 in Grigoriivna, Khmelnytsky region. He studied at Dnipropetrovsk Art College and Kharkiv Art Institute. Worked in the field of easel painting. Main works: "V. G. Korolenko in prison", "In science with the clerk", "Through the fire", "Operator" and others. The artist died on 26th of December.
