ABOUT THE ARTIST: Chernikov Mykola Volodymirovich – was born on the 22nd of October 1953 in Kyiv in the family of painters Volodimir Chernikov and Vira Sogoyan. He studied at Shevchenko Republican Art School and Kyiv State Art Institute. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Worked in the field of easel painting. Participated in city, republican, and international exhibitions. In 1991 Kyiv held a solo exhibition. The artist`s works are represented in Kherson and Mariupol museums, and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. The artist died on 20th of October 20, 1996.
