ABOUT THE ARTIST: Khyzhnyak Hryhoriy Yemelyanovych - was born in 1899. In the early 1920s, he studied at the Kyiv Art Institute. His teachers were O. Exter and O. Bogomazov. He worked in the field of easel painting. Master of portrait, still life, and landscape. Participant of all Union and republican art exhibitions. The artist died in 1975.
