ABOUT THE ARTIST: Volodymyr Isaakovich Erlih – was born on 25th of September, 1924 in the Novopavlivka village, Odessa region. He studied at the Art College in Dnepropetrovsk. Teachers: Panin M., Pogrebnyak N.S. Since 1949 he participates in regional, all-Union and international exhibitions. In 1963 he became a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He painted hundreds of portraits - lyrical, romantic and chamber. The artist's works are kept in private and museum collections in Ukraine and abroad. Artist died in 2001.
