ABOUT THE ARTIST: Kosmachev Georgiy Sergiyovych – was born on 20th of September, 1911, in Kharkiv. Graphic painter. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. He graduated since painting courses at the Association of Artists of Ukraine. He studied at Kharkiv Art Institute. Mentors: Golubyatnikov P., Padalko I. Worked in the style of realism and impressionism. He created landscapes, still lifes. Member of republican, all-union and international art exhibitions since 1946. Personal exhibitions took place in Kharkiv in 1958, 1965, 1974, 1976, 1981. Separate works are kept in the Lugansk, Gorlovsky art museum. The artist died on 7th of July, 1991.
