ABOUT THE ARTIST: Zherdzytskyi Yevhen Fedorovych - was born on October 19, 1928, in the village of Sgorlitsk, Rostov region. Studied: Rostov Art School named after M.B. Grekov (1945-1947); Dnepropetrovsk Art College; Kharkov State Art Institute (1949-1954). Teachers in the specialty - A. Kokel, S. Prokhorov, G. Tomenko, S. Besedin. He worked in the field of easel painting. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1958). Honored Artist of Ukraine (1993). Participated in exhibitions: republican and all-union since 1956, foreign since 1962. Major works: “1920. Subbotnik "(1957); “Weekdays of construction. Channel", "T. Shevchenko. The paths of the Haidamaks" (1961); "Enthusiasts of the Komsomol" (1964), "Portrait of Y. Overweg" (1991).
