ABOUT THE ARTIST: Vsevolod Danilovich Sharkevich – was born on 11th of February 1911 in Shargorod, Vinnytsia region. He studied at the Kyiv Art Institute. Mentors: Fraerman T., Cherkassky A., Volokidin P., Krichevsky F. The Artists worked in the easel painting industry. Since 1945 he participated in republican and all-union exhibitions. Major works: «Portrait of his wife» (1945); «Portrait of S.A. Kolpak» (1958); «Still life pivony» (1958); «Kolkhoz Amateur Activities» (1960) and others. The artist's works are represented in many public and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. The artist died in 1994.
