Wolshtein Moses Lvovich
Wolshtein Moses Lvovich – was born on the 9th of April, 1916 in Borisov, Belarus. He studied at the Kyiv Art Institute. Mentors: Steinberg M., Sharonov M., Fomin O., Shtilman I., Shovkunenko O. Worked in the easel painting. He drew together with Kostenko F.T. in the 1940s, and in the 1940s-1960s with Filbert A.A. He worked as a mentor at Lugansk Art College from 1946 to 1958. Since 1945 he has taken part in republican, all-Union exhibitions. The main works: "The Traitor" (1945); "Unemployed. Old Donbas "(1957); "The Land of Donetsk" (I960); "Near the Chumatic hearth" (1957); "With a song about the Motherland" (1965) and others. The artist died in 2000.
