Zhugan Volodymyr Oleksandrovych
(1926 – 2008)
Zhugan Volodymyr Oleksandrovych – was born on the 27th of August, 1926 in Lihovka village, Dnipropetrovsk region. Painter, one of the founders of the industrial landscape. He studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Art College. Mentors: Panin M., Pogrebnyak N. Since 1949 the works of the artist were represented at various exhibitions. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 2006, he was an Honored Artist of Ukraine. His works are in art museums in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kamenets-Podilsky, and numerous private collections. The artist died on the 15th of September in 2008.
