Panich Igor Vasilyovich
(1919 – 1990)
Panich Igor Vasilyovich – was born on the 30th of April, 1919 in Ivanivka village, Poltava region. He studied at the Kharkiv State Art Institute. Mentors: Prokhorov S., Kokel O., Dajts I., Besedin S., Tomenko G., Chernov L., Gornicny E. Worked in the easel painting industry. Specialized in thematic paintings. Member of the Union of Artists of USSR since 1960. Honored Artist of Ukraine since 1972. Since 1949 he participated in Republican and all-Union exhibitions. Major works: "On Vacation" (1963); " Kobzar" (1965); "Guests on the collective farm" (1966) and others. Lived and worked in Lugansk. The artist died in 1990.
