ABOUT THE ARTIST: Mykola Ivanovich Osenev – was born in 1909 in Moscow. He studied at Moscow State Academic Art Institute. Mentors: Gerasimov S. V., Grabar I. É., Deineka A. A. Since 1949 participated in numerous republican and foreign art exhibitions. Major works: "October in Smolny", "The First Word of Soviet Power", "On the Roads of War", "New Landscape", "Industrial Landscape", "Winter in Moscow", "Ahead of Moscow" and others. The paintings are presented in the State Tretyakov Gallery, Penza Art Gallery, private collections. Lived and worked in Moscow. The Artist died in 1983.
